About one week back I purchased Seagate Backup Plus 1tb and when I am using USB 3.0 cable, its transferring files starts in 112M/s but after a few seconds it is falling to 0 and also I get a pops up error like 0x8007045D or 0x80070079. I tried to find the solution of these errors but I found nothing. When I use normal USB (other than 3.0), it runs normally with transfer speed 27 M/s and I didn’t get any popping error. What can be the problem as my Seagate Backup plus 1tb disconnects after using USB 3.0? Please give me a solution to resolve the problem. Thanks in advance.
Well, USB 3.0 is the second main revision of the Universal Serial Bus (USB), it is used for computer connectivity. It carries transfer mode which is called “SuperSpeed”. Moreover, it has increased bandwidth with increased bus utilization. Its speed is 10-20 times more than of USB 2.0. Besides, the drivers of USB 3.0 are under development for Windows 7.
Issues can come to USB 3.0 due to many reasons.
- Driver: you need to update the drivers of USB 3.0 as follows.
- Update your windows to latest Version.
- See the USB 3.0 on the manufacturers or motherboard website.
- If the above steps didn’t work then try to update your USB 3.0 drivers with forcing your windows to search for the drivers online.
- Cable problem: There are certain types of cables available for USB 3.0. So find a cable (for the USB 3.0) which best suites with it.
However, try to update the drivers as well as make use of a proper cable. Still if you face the same problem, feel free to call us on our Disk Doctors Professionals on this number: 1.800.347.5377.
