RAID 10 Failure and Recovery?

I was having a RAID 10 by Western Digital Caviar of 160 GB capacity. When I started using this RAID, something went wrong but somehow it kept functioning fine. At that time I thought it was just an error but, with the passage of time it really fried the motherboard of my system. Sadly, I was not taking any backup of my data which is the biggest mistake I did. I even tried replacing the motherboard but, all in vain.
